Promotional Ideas – for all sunscreen products

Sunscreens offer protection, so provide you with a logical link to
tie the protection qualities of your product to sunscreen.

The most popular promotions for sunscreens:

  • Golf & sports days for corporate or charity
  • Outdoor promotions – demonstrations, field days
  • New product releases
  • Sales person’s giveaways to their customers
  • Trade show traffic stoppers
  • Fund raisers for schools and clubs
  • Retail or shopping centre promotions

Here are some detailed ideas for sunscreens:

Sporting events – for cricket, tennis, fun runs, annual shows or sports carnivals…give out sachets with your logo and details.

Conference packs/room drops – most meetings have some outdoor activities and not everyone will remember their sunscreen. So next time surprise them with your sunscreen branded with the conference theme.

Sales person’s customer giveaways – treat your sales force as if they are special!! Include their name & mobile on the label. Fact: if your rep’s enjoy giving them away, they’ll meet more customers.

Trade show traffic stoppers – offer a free sachet to the passers by. Most people like ‘something for nothing’ and a sunscreen will make most people stop. By accepting the free sunscreen, most customers will allow you to ask a couple of questions in return.

Christmas gifts/hampers – when you need to thank 100’s of staff and customers’ package several sachets with your logo in a gift box and spread them around.

Gift with purchase – provide a gift that is both useful and adds value to the host product. A sachet of sunscreen fits this formula perfectly:
it’s practical – most people use will use it;
it’s value – most people will see it as extra value;
and its different – sunscreen makes your product stand out from your competitor.
